Andrej Dubravsky returned to Italy with a new solo exhibition at Richter Fine Art. The Slovak artist, born in 1987, presents a new series of paintings entitled Runner's High. According to an article in Scientific American magazine, the "Runner's High effect involves:" a feeling of euphoria combined with reduced anxiety and a reduced ability to feel pain (…) after a long period of aerobic exercise, come "runner's high". Inspired by this effect, the painter presents new large-scale paintings depicting young men running in groups. Dubravsky deals with themes that are dear to him and very current such as climate change, intensive agriculture, global industry, politics.
